The Exceptional Foundation of the Gulf Coast is dedicated to the meeting the social, recreational, and artistic needs of developmentally and physically challenged individuals.At The Exceptional Foundation we provide daily programs which include arts, crafts, team sports, exercise classes, social events, and music.
We are caregivers to the special needs population of the Gulf Coast. We strive to provide exceptional opportunities, services, and support. We not only meet but enhance their social, recreational, and extracurricular lives.
These individuals need the support of the community. We opened the doors in October 2011, but there is still much work to be done, and many more funds to be raised for these exceptional individuals. Together, we can make a big difference.

We have had some exciting past couple of weeks. I do apologize for not updating the blog spot to tell about our week!
Last week we had some very special guests come and play and basketball because ARC could not make it. The participants and volunteers children had a great time leaning new skills and playing a great game! We also worked hard on finishing up the decorations for the Valentine's Dance.
The Valentine's Dance was a huge success! Thank you to all that came out and danced the night away!! We had a great time! We had over 50 people come out and enjoy great company food, and music! Thank you John for DJing!!!
Wednesday, was a down day for all of us!! We hung out at the Foundation and just enjoyed each others company. We played basketball, Skip Bo, and games on the Wii!
Thursday, was a HUGE day for us!!!! Mr. Callahan, Terry Thompson, and the Mapp Foundation surprised us with BRAND NEW VAN!!! This is 15 passenger van which allows all of us to go on outings together! We are SOOOO EXCITED!!!
We had a break for Mardi Gras and I hope everyone enjoyed family and moon pies!
Wednesday, we visited the Naval Air Station Museum in Pensacola. It was an amazing time and cannot wait till I am able to put all the pictures up. The Keys and the Callahans made the trip possible and very entertaining! Thank you so much!! Mr. Mark, we also thank you for all of your contributions!

Upcoming we have a very eventful March. We are going to the USA Campus, Bowling, and Swimming!
Our weeks seems to be becoming more packed with outings throughout the community.
